    Scope and contents

    Legacy collection of concert programs, news clippings, correspondence, promotional materials, reports, academic papers, and miscellaneous ephemera compiled during the first 60 years of the Archive of Recorded Sound (1958-2018). Materials in this collection were compiled for internal reference by the Archive staff and also include booklets, questionnaires and correspondence gathered during information sharing with other sound recording repositories. Original photographs gathered in this collection were removed and placed in the ARS Photograph Collection (ARS-0200).
