Jan Zobel was a San Francisco tax professional, lesbian, LGBTQ activist, and philanthropist. She wrote "Minding Her Own Business: The Self-Employed Woman’s Guide to Taxes and Recordkeeping" and served as editor of "The San Francisco Bay Area People’s Yellow Pages." The collection includes photographs of Zobel, copies of Minding Her Own Business, the 1981 10th Anniversary Edition of The San Francisco Bay Area People’s Yellow Pages, and CDs of an interview with Jan Zobel conducted April 2017 by Page Faegre. Also included is material related to several years of the Quaker Lesbian Conference (QLC) (1979-2003), including photographs, correspondence, ephemera, event and planning documents, and other material.
