Scope and Contents
Collection of travel and tourist brochures and other ephemera largely from the late 1930s (especially 1937). With the exception
of two later items from Japan, the brochures cover travel in and between Europe and North America. Includes timetables, maps,
lists of accomodations, and driving and sightseeing information. Many were produced by passenger ship and railway lines, as
well as various tourist promotion boards. This material was probably gathered by one person. Many have stamps indicating they
came from American Express offices in the Western United States.
