    Eva Marie Saint is an American actress active in film since 1954. She won an Academy Award for best supporting actress for ON THE WATERFRONT (1954).

    Collection Scope and Content Summary

    The Eva Marie Saint papers span the years 1942-2000 (bulk 1953-1997) and encompass 20.1 linear feet. The collection contains scripts and publicity material on all of Saint's feature films from her debut in ON THE WATERFRONT (1954) through MARIETTE IN ECSTASY (1996). There are also scripts and publicity material for Saint's television and stage appearances, as well as personal clippings, correspondence, and photographs. The photograph series consists of prints, color slides, contact sheets, and albums of motion picture production, television production, biography, and subject photographs.
