Abstract: The collection comprises microfiche copies of original material from the Student Volunteer Movement for Foreign Missions housed

and provide information on various aspects of American religious life from 1886-1964. The Student Volunteer Movement for Foreign
Missions was an organization that recruited college and university students in the United States for international missionary
service. John R. Mott founded the SVM in 1888.
