Immediate Source of Acquisition
Purchased from Dawson's Book Shop, 1979.
A promotional album of photographs and printed sales information, titled "Desirable cabin
sites overlooking Lake Arrowhead in Larchmont." The album was produced by Larchmont
Investment Company, 1103 Broadway, Arcade Building, Los Angeles, and promotes property for
sale in the vacation colony of Lake Arrowhead in the San Bernardino Mountains, San
Bernardino County, California. There are approximately 30 photographs, made up of 8 x
10-inch prints and half-tone photocollages, and a map of cabin sites. Images depict sites in
the woods with views of the lake, trails, a log cabin, and buildings Arlington Lodge, the
Dancing Pavilion, and the Village Tavern.
Processed by Huntington Library staff, late-20th century. In 2021, Suzanne Oatey created a
finding aid.
