Biography/Administrative History

John Rudolf, piano maker, purchased this property in 1879. He died in 1890, and his widow Martha had mortgaged a portion of the property by 1901.

Scope and Content of Collection

Title abstract, in manuscript and typescript, requested by Mrs. Martha A. Rudolf, for parcel fronting Vicksburg Street, between 22nd, 23rd, Sanchez and Vicksburg Streets, dated December 24, 1892. Continuation by O. A. Rouleau, dated August 6, 1895, followed by continuation by Simpson & Millar, dated February 6, 1899. Hand-drawn map follows title page. Abstract commences with deed of Francois L. A. Pioche to Josiah H. Applegate, 1865.
