The collection consists of an original typescript of a short science-fiction story, "It's a Good Trick, If..." by author Kate Wilhelm, along with the February 1960 issue of Amazing Stories containing the published version.

Kate Wilhelm (1928-2018) was an American author known for writing works of science fiction, mystery and suspense. She was inducted into the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame in 2003, and helped establish the Clarion Writers Workshop and the Milford Writer's Workshop.
