This is a collection of copies of Bureau of Indian Affairs correspondence and reports mostly relating to Navajo and Hopi reservation matters from 1890 to 1906. Correspondents include Charles E. Burton, Glenn C. Lawrence, Theo. G. Lemmon, and C. E. Vandever. The copies were made from the archives of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and sent from Fort Defiance, Arizona, courtesy of Richard Van Valkenburgh between September and December 1940.
