Biography / Administrative History
Kenneth Francis Morgan graduated from Pomona College with the Class of 1919. Nicknamed
"Pop," Morgan captained the Pomona College football team and was heavily involved in clubs
and organizations on campus including the Varsity Society, Lyceum, and Sigma Tau
fraternity. He also served on the 1919 Metate Board, as president of the Senior Men's
Organization, and as captain of the Company B of the Student Army Training Corps.
Scope and Contents of the Collection
The collection includes an assortment of 35mm slides used in presentations given by Kenneth
Morgan at the Class of 1919's 50th and 55th alumni reunions in 1969 and 1974. The slides
appear to be a mixture of original photographs and photoduplicates of photographs and
documents. The slides include an assortment of images of Pomona College students, student
activities, campus buildings, members of the Pomona College faculty and administration, and
scenes of early Claremont. The collection also features images of reunion events and
attendees.
