Maehrischel Collection
consists of items collected by Maehrischel that relate to
her experience as an Old China Hand. The collection is primarily made up of articles on the
topic of Jewish refugees in China, as well as issues of the Old China Hands newsletter
The Hongkew Chronicle. Also included is a letter from Bill and Elly
Grasse, a program for the Silver Jubilee of the Association of Far Eastern Jews in
Australia, and an assortment of travel guides for Kaifeng, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Xi'an, the
Suzhou Hotel, the Wuxi Limin Porcelain Factory, and Helen Wong's Guide to China.
