Tennessee, during the Vietnam War.

This collection contains 14 letters by Senior master sergeant (SMSgt) Vincent Ferrando, United States Army, to his nine year
old daughter, Karen Ferrando, during the Vietnam War. Ferrando calls his daughter "Botita" in his letters. He does not write
much of Vietnam other than the weather. He compliments his daughter on her handwriting and tells her how much he enjoys receiving
her letters. In the spring of 1968 he went to Australia for six days and described seeing kangaroos, koala bears, ostriches,
and talking parrots.
