Description
Press releases, correspondence, proposal, flyers, notes, clippings, pamphlets, resolutions, admission packet, and other items documenting activity of the People's College of Law of the National Lawyers Guild (PCL), 1973-1980. The PCL was an unaccredited law school intended to train legal professionals to defend the rights of "the poor and oppressed." The PCL included a gay caucus, which focused on gay and lesbian rights projects.

Founded in 1974, the People's College of Law of the National Lawyers Guild was "dedicated to the creation of a group of lawyers who will serve the needs of the poor and oppressed of every community."
