Biographical/Historical note

Penfield & Smith were registered civil engineers and land planners from 1946 until 2014 when the company was acquired by Stantec, another engineering firm. Penfield & Smith practiced in the Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, Oxnard, and Lancaster areas of Southern California.

Scope and Contents note

Collection consists of three reprograhic copies of a parking layout with proposed decorative wall details for the El Presidio Properties company. The parking lot was located on the corner of Canon Perdido and Anacapa streets in downtown Santa Barbara.
