These documents were inherited by Paul Darrell, whose collection was acquired by the Pacific Coast Chapter of the Railway
& Locomotive Historical Society and donated to the California State Railroad Museum.
Biography/Administrative History
Leonard T. Haug, a Southern Pacific employee, was an amateur railroad photographer, who was collaborating with Paul Darrell
and Leonard Haug on a book about Mexican railroads. Many of Mr. Haug's photographs appear in Gerald M. Best's MEXICAN NARROW
GAUGE (1968). He was killed in a hotel fire, August 20, 1949, in Boston Bar, British Columbia.
