The prints are signed and dated by Lamaina on the verso, and are accompanied by printed descriptions and technical information about the photographs.

Each photograph in Box 2 has a separate sheet with some background information about the subject, written by the photographerSusanna Lucia Lamaina is a fine art photographer and a professor from California. Under the name Suzun Lucia Lamaina, she published the book Revolutionary grain : Celebrating the spirit of the Black Panthers in portraits and stories in 2016 using these portraits.
