Abstract: The box includes about 37 years of a quarterly publication called Western Express, which features historical articles on early
mail delivery in the western United States. The collection includes quarterly issues from 1951 to 1988, and an index of the
issues from 1951 to 1980. Western Express is published by the Western Cover Society, a non-profit historical society created
in 1950 that focuses on postal delivery in the U.S.
