and other various activities on Montgomery Street. First page of program has a detailed pen drawing of a bear in front of
a campfire and the title is hand-drawn calligraphy.

Biographical/Historical note
California was admitted to the Union as the 31st state on September 9, 1850. A celebration for this event was held in San
Francisco on October 29, 1850. Colonel Jonathan Stevenson was the Grand Marshal of the event.
