Collection consists of approximately 4,500 music video recordings on U-matic and Beta tapes from primarily the 1980s and 1990s
from broadcaster and music historian Harvey Sheldon.
Background
Harvey Sheldon (born 1936) is a broadcaster, and music historian who specializes in the Golden Age of Pop (1930s-1960s), and
Big Band swing and jazz. He founded "America's Rock Network" and began producing and hosting "Monster Rock" on Century Cable
in the mid 1990s. Sheldon has collected moving image music recordings since the 1960s, and has amassed a library of diverse
genres and eras.
