Description
The University of California, Irvine Hawai'i Club, also known as Na 'Opio O Ka 'Aina (NOOK) or "The Youth of the Land," was established in 1985 to support Hawaiian students transitioning to mainland and college culture. Since then, the club has developed into a fellowship that embraces students from around the world. Together, they uphold the Aloha Spirit by sharing the Hawaiian and Polynesian lifestyle through cultural workshops, dance performances, and other social events. The collection comprises event fliers and leaflets, Lu'au program booklets, a calendar of events, newsletters, ephemera, correspondence, forms, and funding requests.
