    Abstract: Lindell Hendrix served in the 8th Air Force in the World War Two and worked for Republic Aircraft after the War.

    Biographical / Historical

    Lindell Eugene Hendrix was born on March 7, 1921 in Illinois. He enrolled in the Aviation Cadet academy on November 27, 1939 directly out of college where he attended for two years majoring in Chemistry and Journalism. He soon was deployed into WWII a year late in July. While he was deployed he received an Air Medal for excellent service while tracking down enemy aircraft over Southern Europe. He was based in Southern Carolina, Washington, and Oregon. Mr. Hendrix died on April 28, 1980 in San Diego, California.
