This collection contains one correspondence written by PFC Walter L. Schellhorn, USA to a Miss Jean Heiney during the Vietnam
War. Ms. Heiney had sent a Christmas package to random soldiers and PFC Schellhorn wanted to thank her and give her a description
of those to whom she had done such a nice gesture.
Included with the letter is a photograph of Schellhorn opening the package next to a Christmas tree and one 50 Nam Muoi Dong
banknote, Vietnamese currency which he refers to as 50 piasters which was the name of the French Indochina currency until
1952 and apparently still used colloquially.
