Description
Dumont Howard (1954-1988) was a music critic and librettist who was the author-in-residence for the Lilliput Players children’s
musical theater, producing works that his Bay Area Reporter obituary called “marked by wit, intelligence, and sophistication
missing from most children’s theater, an adroit blend that appealed to adults and young people.” The collection includes scripts,
scores, and publicity for Howard’s musicals, as well as personal and business correspondence, subject files, photographs,
scrapbooks, and personalia.
