    Content Description

    This collection contains correspondence written by CPL Frederick Robinson, USAAF, to Frances E. Mote during World War Two. Also included are newspaper clippings, photographs, and greeting cards. Robinson served in New Guinea and the Phillippines. Prior to the war, Robinson was a commercial artist and retoucher for Parker Advertising Co. His skill as an artist is evidenced in his letters - most of them contain sketches and drawings.
    Two of the newspaper clippings included refer to Andrew Carroll and the Center for American War Letters.
