The Friends of the Newport Coast, established in 1976 as the Friends of the Irvine Coast, was an environmental organization dedicated to preserving and protecting open space and wildlife habitat on the Newport Coast in Orange County, California for the purpose of public use and enjoyment. In 2011, the board voted to disband as the organization had fulfilled its mission.
