Collection consists of manuscripts, correspondence and various documents belonging to Ignacio B. del Castillo, former head of the Department of History for the National Museum of Mexico.

Ignacio B. del Castillo (1886-1966) was the parliamentary chronicler for the newspaper Excelsior, an archivist of the Congress of the Union, and was head of the Department of History of the National Museum.
