Description
The Jay T. Last Collection of Household Prints and Ephemera contains over 7,900 printed items advertising household items,
products, and related businesses in the United States from the 1830s to the 1920s, with the bulk of the items
spanning from 1850 to 1900. The collection consists largely of lithographed ephemeral items produced for American businesses
affiliated with the manufacture, distribution, and sale of furnishings, appliances, cleaning products, and related tools and
supplies. Pets and pet products are also found here.

Restrictions
The Huntington Library does not require that researchers request permission to quote from or publish images of this material,
nor does it charge fees for such activities.
The responsibility for identifying the copyright holder, if there is one, and obtaining necessary permissions rests with the
researcher.
