Kathleen Bernath, the great-granddaughter of Harris Newmark, was the Americana Cataloguer at the Henry E. Huntington Library for 16 years before serving as Director of the Upland Public Library. She and her husband moved into Claremont Manor and she spent years volunteering as Head Librarian of Claremont Manor Library. This collection contains articles, clippings, correspondence, and photographs relating to Kathleen Bernath's life and career, including family photographs and materials relating to her tenure at the Huntington Library.
