Scope and Content of Collection
This collection documents the work of Digital Queers (circa 1992-1996), a San Francisco-based non-profit that raised money
for, and gave donations to, LGBT organizations so that they could upgrade their technology and increase their access to the
internet. There are administrative records, correspondence and emails, beneficiary files, information about donors and fundraising,
news clippings and public relations materials. DQ funded a wide variety of LGBT organizations from all over the country; the
beneficiary files contain correspondence and information about each group that applied. There are also banners and t-shirts.
Carton 1 contains administrative and beneficiary files; Carton 2 contains administrative files, fundraising and public relations
materials, news clippings and t-shirts.
