California, Riverside during the mid-20th century. The Synapsis Club was founded by Herbert
J. Webber in the early 20th century as a lecture and discussion group, serving as a popular
scientific forum for almost half a century.

Eric Milenkiewicz, Manuscripts Curator.

The Synapsis Club was founded by Herbert J. Webber in the early 20th century as a lecture
and discussion group. The club served as a popular scientific forum for almost half a
century before it was disbanded in the late 1960s.
