    Scope and Content of Collection

    This album consists of photographs of people working for the Western Pacific. There are lots of wrecks shown in this album and some pages have the year stated. Wrecks include: the wreck of Western Pacific train number 2 "The Scenic Limited" at the west end of Oroville, Nov. 30, 1938, wreck in Mar. 1946 between Virgilia and Rich Bar, CA, in Apr. 5, 1943 a wreck near Mile Post 230 at McLean, CA, and one at Merlin on Jan. 26, 1941. There are also a few pages of photos of a rail enthusiast trip on the Western Pacific from October 9th and 10th, 1954. [Album 141]
