    Content Description

    This collection contains correspondence written to Annie McFarland of Dublin, VA during the Civil War. Approximately half the letters were written by a man named Will, whose identity is unknown. Others were written by her brother Private Henry McFarland of the 22nd Regiment, Virginia Infantry of the Confederate Army.
