    Scope and Contents

This collection contains two letters from Technical Sergeant William Weston Lasswell, United States Army during the Second World War.
The first, written Ocotber 1, 1944, was addressed to Walt and Ginger Fletcher. Lasswell spent the letter lamenting his lack of French skills, because it made conversing with beautiful French women difficult.
The second letter, written January 17, 1945, was addressed to Bruce and Helen Anderson. Lasswell wrote from Belgium, and expressed thanks for a lovely Christmas gift.
T/Sgt. Lasswell served with Headquarters Battery, 118th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Group.
