Description
Record Series 178 contains publications generated by UCLA's Library Staff Association between 1945 and 1987.
Background
The Library Staff Association (LSA) encourages educational development, provides an informal structure for communication, and fosters a spirit of cooperation and fellowship through information programs and social events among all library staff. Serving library staff for more than six decades, LSA holds a winter party and several social activities each year. To raise funds for these activities and to fund an award presented at the Campbell Student Book Collection Competition and an annual scholarship for a student in information studies, LSA organizes a book sale each fall.
