Abstract: Chief Engineer Lewis Augustus Gender papers (SAFR 17527, HDC 368) includes a notebook, a continuous discharge book and a scrapbook which has been dismantled. Included in the scrapbook are correspondences, notes, photographs, a visa for his wife, and several pages regarding Gender's death at sea. The collection is available for research use without restriction.
