Abstract: Logbook for A. J. West (schooner) and Newsboy (built 1889; steam schooner) kept by Captain F. E. Rensch (SAFR 16453, HDC 169) recorded voyages for the West Coast lumber trade. This photocopy of the original includes mention of a lunar eclipse and statistics on upper topsail and deviation. The collection is available for research use without restriction.
