Collection Scope and Content Summary

The Universal Pictures Company negatives span the years 1946-1957 and encompass 114 linear feet. The collection consists of 8 x 10, 4 x 5, and 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 black-and-white negatives. The motion picture production photographs consist largely of scenes for feature and short films. The biography photographs consist largely of off-camera photographs, portraits, and photographs of actors at home.
