Abstract: Captain Warren F. Mills papers, ferryboat records and vessel history index cards collection (SAFR 18467, HDC 89) ranges in
date from 1908 to 1977. Mills' papers include two folders of correspondence and patents. The ferryboat records consist of
a 1977 analysis of conversion to a restaurant for the ferryboat GARDEN CITY and six folders on the ferryboat EPPLETON HALL.
The EPPLETON HALL records include correspondence, certification, R.B. Harrison and Son and Riley Boilers documents, an engineer's
logbook, vessel plans and histories. These records date from 1969 to 1970. The undated vessel index cards are housed in three
folders with a fourth folder containing a photocopy set of the 600 cards. This collection is processed and available for reference
use without restriction.
