Description
This collection contains letters to TSgt. Harry A. Berger, USAAF from friends and family during the Second World War. Also included are one a small photograph of Harry A. Berger, some miscellaneous ephemera and one copy of Yank magazine from May of 1945.
Background
Technical Sergeant Harry A. Berger, United States Army Air Force was of Jewish heritage and served with 2nd Air Division, 2nd Combat Bombardment Wing, 445th Bombardment Group, Squadron 702. It is believed that he was stationed in Tibenham, United Kingdom roughly from 1942 until late 1944.
