Wallbank was a history professor at the University of Southern California from 1933 to 1964. He wrote the popular world history textbook with Alastair M. Taylor, "Civilizations Past and Present."

Thomas Walter Wallbank (1901-1992) was an American historian. Wallbank was a history professor at the University of Southern California from 1933 to 1964. Along with Alastair M. Taylor, he wrote the world history textbook "Civilization Past and Present."
