Scope and Contents

"The cartulary or register of a hospital at Figeac in the Diocese of Cahors in the Southern French Department of Lot. The text is written primarily in Provençal with transcriptions of documents in Latin. The contents, recording donations to the hospital, include transcripts of documents dated 1265 and 1266 mentioning Louis IX (1226-1270) as the ruling monarch. A number of specific names feature, including Johans de Grezas, W. Dacier, Bertran Gasco, Laurens de Cavila, Durans de Castelnou, Berenguiers Belser, Raymons del Pont."--Antiquarian bookseller's catalog, 1985.
