    Abstract: The scrapbook includes a wide variety of items including typewritten reports on local history written by PTA members; pamphlets about Mt. Diablo State Park and California history; a report on CCCHS’s dedication in 1954 of a bronze plaque marking the Moraga Adobe; a newspaper photo published in the Oakland Tribune in 1954 showing John Swett and John Muir sitting on the porch of Swett’s adobe; a transcript of a tape-recorded interview with William Lynch in 1952 in which he describes his family’s covered-wagon migration from Kansas to Contra Costa County; and a letter from Henry Wiedeman to his niece Roxanne Wiedemann describing his migration from Germany to California in 1850.
