The Stella Stray papers span the years 1915-1959 and encompass 1 linear foot. The papers consist of production and subject files.
The production files contain press releases, publicity materials, and memos for films THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH (1952), THE LAW OF THE LAWLESS (1923), SEA HORSES (1926), and VOLCANO (1926).

Stella Stray was a bookkeeper in Hollywood from the mid-1910s into the 1950s. Trained as a stenographer, she became secretary to Cecil B. DeMille and Jesse L. Lasky. As a bookkeeper she worked in the accounting department at Famous Players-Lasky Corporation and Paramount Pictures Corp.
