Charles "Chuck" D. Miller was born on March 1, 1928 in Hartford Connecticut. His parents were Mark A. Miller (1897-1973) and Marguerite Daly Miller (1899-1983). Miller had three siblings: Audrey Ann Miller, Robert Arnold Miller, and Virginia May Miller. Miller attended Johns Hopkins University and graduated in 1949. He married Carolyn Louise Cannon on May 15, 1982.
