The Lutherans Concerned/San Francisco records document the work of this chapter of the national LGBT Lutheran organization
from its founding in 1975 through 2019. The chapter’s goals were to educate the church about gays and lesbians, develop a
theology that included people of various “sexual lifestyles,” and create spiritual affirmation for gays and lesbians.
