Biography/Administrative History
The Arizona Eastern Railroad was incorporated on January 29, 1910 by the Southern Pacific Company. It was a consolidation
of six railroads, including the Arizona Eastern Railroad of 1904. It included 382 miles of absorbed, leased, and constructed
track and ran from Wellton, Arizona to Winkleman and Christmas.
