Series Scope and Content Summary
This series consists of material displayed in the Golden Gate Bridge Exhibit, in November 2012-March 2013. The series contains
various printed materials, including an issue of the California History Journal (volume 89, number 3, 2012) with a special
feature "Bridging the Golden Gate: A Photo Essay," "Golden Gate Bridge: History and Design of an Icon," by Donald MacDonald
and Ira Nadel (Chronicle Books, 2008), and a postcard book and loose postcards depicting the various construction stages of
the bridge and iconic photographs of the bridge and the San Francisco Bay.
