Photo album contains 23 color photographic prints of librarians and personnel of the Manila San Francisco Friendship library in Manila, and documents library clubs and events in 1982. The album includes a thank you letter addressed to Mayor Dianne Feinstein for her support of the library dated September 24, 1982. Album measures 6.5 x 11.5 inches and contains handwritten captions.

The Manila-San Francisco Friendship Library was originally established as the Manila Business Library and Museum in July 1937 and renamed to Sta. Cruz Public Library in November 1945. The library was officially inaugurated as the Manila-San Francisco Friendship Library on June 22, 1981, in connection to the establishment of the Manila-San Francisco Sister City relationship in 1981, and a result of the efforts of the Manila International Sister-Cities Association (MISCA). San Francisco Mayor Dianne Feinstein visited Manila in 1981 for the Manila-San Francisco Library's dedication ceremony. Mayor Feinstein later hosted Manila Mayor Ramon D. Bagatsing in San Francisco in July 1984 and donated $10,000 pesos to the Manila-San Francisco Friendship Library.
