Biographical / Historical

Collection of documents belonging to Yehuda Avissar, deputy municipal engineer of the city of Jaffa. Tel-Aviv-Jaffa, [1930s-40s]. The collection includes: thirty architectural drawings, including drawings of the Dajani Hospital, the first private hospital in Jaffa; the offices of ha-Mashbir ha-Merkazi; and other buildings and streets in Jaffa. There are also about 100 letters, receipts and official documents addressed to Avissar, as well as three small photographs depicting sewer pipe installation in Jaffa. Most of the documents are from the Jaffa Municipality and from the Association of Engineers and Architects.
