Description
Don Hanrahan served on the Martinez City Council in the late 1950s to early 1960s. He also worked at the Hercules Powder Works.
Materials include campaign material and articles, newspaper clippings concerning Martinez issues (marina, Alhambra Ave, veteran’s
hospital), items concerning the powder works, and personal papers concerning his home in Richmond at 637 36th Street, his
home in Martinez at 3721 Brookside Drive, and a small collection of photographs. This collection came to the historical society
through the purchase of the materials at a local flea market.
